Ingredients
– 2 cups elbow macaroni
– 1 can (5 oz) tuna in oil, drained and flaked
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
– 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/4 tsp onion powder
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/4 cup celery, diced
– 1/4 cup red onion, diced
– 1/4 cup sweet pickles, diced (optional)
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, tuna, celery, red onion, and pickles (if using).
3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
5. Garnish with chopped parsley and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
– You can substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
