For the Steak:
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
For the Cajun Shrimp Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 8 oz shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Prepare the Steak
- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (or until desired doneness). Remove from the skillet and let them rest.

Make the Cajun Shrimp Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any brown bits from the pan.
- Reduce heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.

Combine & Serve
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce.
- Place the steaks back into the pan and spoon the sauce over them.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, let it simmer a little longer before adding the shrimp.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
