Description

These Spicy Tuna Crunchwraps are a delicious fusion of sushi and Tex-Mex, featuring spicy tuna, crunchy vegetables, and a crispy tortilla wrap. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner!

 


Ingredients

– 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained

– 2 tbsp mayonnaise

– 1 tbsp sriracha

– 1 tsp soy sauce

– 1/2 tsp sesame oil

– 1/4 cup diced cucumber

– 1/4 cup shredded carrots

– 1/4 cup shredded lettuce

– 1/4 cup crispy fried onions

– 4 large flour tortillas

– 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

– 1/4 cup sour cream

– 1 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix the tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.

2. Lay a tortilla flat and spread a spoonful of sour cream in the center.

3. Add a portion of the spicy tuna mixture on top of the sour cream.

4. Layer with diced cucumber, shredded carrots, lettuce, crispy fried onions, and shredded cheese.

5. Fold the edges of the tortilla over the filling, forming a tight wrap.

6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.

7. Place the wrap seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

8. Flip and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.

9. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

 


Notes

– You can substitute canned tuna with fresh sushi-grade tuna for a more authentic sushi-style wrap.

– Adjust the sriracha to your spice preference.

– For extra crunch, add crushed tortilla chips inside the wrap.
