Description

These Speedy Dumpling Stuffed Flatbreads are a fusion of crispy flatbreads and flavorful dumpling fillings, making for a delicious and quick meal. With a golden-brown exterior and a juicy, savory filling, they are perfect for a snack, appetizer, or light meal.

Ingredients

**For the Dough:**

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 3/4 cup warm water

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1 tbsp vegetable oil

**For the Filling:**

– 1/2 lb ground chicken or pork

– 1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped

– 2 green onions, finely chopped

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– 1 tsp ginger, minced

– 1 tbsp soy sauce

– 1 tsp sesame oil

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

**For Cooking:**

– 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and warm water until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.

2. In another bowl, combine the ground meat, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

3. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle.

4. Place a portion of the dumpling filling in the center of one dough circle. Cover with another piece of dough and press the edges to seal.

5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook each stuffed flatbread for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with soy sauce or chili oil.

Notes

– You can use pre-made dumpling filling for an even faster version.

– Swap ground chicken or pork with tofu for a vegetarian option.

– Best served fresh, but can be reheated in a pan for crispiness.

– Serve with soy sauce, vinegar, or chili oil for dipping.
