Pasta & Base:
12 oz egg noodles
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
Sauce:
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 small onion, finely diced (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional Add-ins:
1 cup diced ham or bacon bits
Topping:
1/2 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions

Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly.

Cook Noodles:
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Mix the Sauce:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the optional ham or bacon if using.

- Toss the cooked noodles with the sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Transfer the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish.
