Scale
- 1 1/2 cups (240 g) milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (120 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (120 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup (150 g) peanuts, chopped
- 1 cup (150 g) caramel bits or caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the base: In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and sweetened condensed milk over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Layer the fudge: Pour half of the chocolate mixture into a lined 9×9-inch (23×23 cm) baking dish. Spread evenly and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
- Add caramel and peanuts: While the base is setting, melt the caramel bits with a tablespoon of water in the microwave or on the stovetop. Once the base has set, spread the melted caramel over the chocolate layer, then sprinkle the chopped peanuts over the caramel.
- Finish the fudge: Pour the remaining chocolate mixture over the peanuts, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Serve: Once set, cut into small squares and serve.
Notes
- You can use store-bought caramel sauce for a quicker version.
- For extra crunch, you can add more peanuts or even crushed pretzels.
