Description

Sausage-Cheese Ball Biscuit Cups are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring savory sausage, gooey cheese, and flaky biscuit dough. These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, breakfast, or a quick snack, delivering a flavorful and satisfying bite in every cup.

Ingredients

– 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (e.g., Pillsbury Grands)

– 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.

2. In a bowl, mix cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.

3. Separate biscuit dough and flatten each piece slightly to fit into the muffin tin, pressing it up the sides to form a cup.

4. Spoon the sausage-cheese mixture evenly into each biscuit cup.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

– For extra spice, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sausage mixture.

– These can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.

– Swap cheddar cheese for pepper jack for a zesty twist.
