Description

Orange Dreamsicle Salad is a light, creamy, and refreshing dessert salad that combines the flavors of orange and vanilla, just like the classic creamsicle. This no-bake treat is perfect for potlucks, summer gatherings, or as a quick and easy dessert!

 


Ingredients

– 1 package (3 oz) orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-O)

– 1 cup boiling water

– 1/2 cup cold water

– 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

– 1 cup milk

– 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

– 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained

– 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

– 1 cup mini marshmallows


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, dissolve the orange gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

2. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and mix well. Place in the refrigerator to chill for about 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth.

4. Combine the thickened gelatin with the pudding mixture and mix well.

5. Fold in the crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges, whipped topping, and mini marshmallows.

6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to blend.

7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

 


Notes

– For an extra citrusy flavor, add a teaspoon of orange zest.

– If you prefer a less sweet salad, use sugar-free gelatin and pudding mix.

– You can substitute fresh whipped cream for Cool Whip if desired.

– Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
