Description

These Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a delightful no-bake treat bursting with citrusy orange flavor and creamy white chocolate. Inspired by the classic creamsicle, they have a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture with a refreshing zing from fresh orange zest.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (or 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers (for coating)

Instructions

  • In a heatproof bowl, add the white chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter.
  • Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Stir in the orange zest and orange extract (or fresh orange juice).
  • Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 1-2 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
  • Using a small spoon or cookie scoop, roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  • Roll each truffle in powdered sugar (or crushed vanilla wafers for extra texture).
  • Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to set.
