Description

These loaded nacho fries are the ultimate comfort food! Crispy seasoned fries topped with savory taco-seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for game day, parties, or a fun weeknight dinner!

Ingredients

Scale

1 (2 lb) bag Walmart brand seasoned fries (or any seasoned fries)

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade taco seasoning)

2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or your favorite)

Optional toppings:

Sour cream

Guacamole

Salsa

Jalapeños

Green onions

Black olives

Instructions

Cook the Fries:

Preheat the oven and cook the seasoned fries according to the package instructions until crispy.

Prepare the Meat:

While the fries are cooking, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Add the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until the meat is fully seasoned.

Assemble the Nacho Fries:

Once the fries are cooked, spread them out on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.

Top the fries evenly with the seasoned ground beef.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.

Melt the Cheese:

Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.

Add Toppings:

Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, guacamole, salsa, jalapeños, green onions, or black olives.

Serve:

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, use pepper jack cheese or add a dash of hot sauce to the meat.

Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.

Make it vegetarian by using plant-based ground meat and skipping the beef.
