Description

These quick and easy Valentine’s Day patties are perfect for your romantic celebrations! Made with a simple filling and shaped into hearts, they’re a savory treat that pairs well with any Valentine’s Day meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package (10 oz) refrigerated pie crusts (or use homemade)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded) or ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp ranch dressing or any creamy dressing of choice
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the patties.
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken or ground beef, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, ranch dressing, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of half of the heart-shaped crusts.
  • Top with the remaining heart-shaped pie crusts, pressing the edges together gently to seal.
  • Brush the tops of the patties with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is hot.
  • Let the patties cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use any filling you like, such as cooked vegetables, cheese, or other proteins.
  • These patties can also be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to a day before baking.
  • Serve with a side of dipping sauce like marinara or ranch for extra flavor.
