- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar

- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or crushed graham crackers
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, and whisk until smooth.
- Place the marshmallows in the batter, coating them evenly.
- Roll the batter-covered marshmallows in the breadcrumbs or crushed graham crackers for an extra crispy crust.
- Carefully lower the marshmallows into the hot oil, frying a few at a time to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry for about 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Remove the marshmallows with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
