1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 cup whipped cream cheese
1 cucumber, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
1 tbsp “everything but the bagel” seasoning
Fresh dill or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp:
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool. Chop into small pieces.
- Assemble the Bites:
- Spread a small amount of whipped cream cheese onto each cucumber slice.
- Top with a few pieces of sautéed shrimp.
- Sprinkle with “everything but the bagel” seasoning.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Add a sprinkle of fresh dill or parsley if desired.
- Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the shrimp while cooking.
Substitute whipped cream cheese with goat cheese or avocado spread for a different flavor.
Make ahead tip: Prepare the shrimp and slice the cucumber ahead of time, but assemble just before serving to keep the cucumber crisp.
