For the Filling:
- 200ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
(or substitute with chocolate ganache: 100g melted chocolate + 100ml warm heavy cream)
For Decoration:
- Mini chocolate eggs
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for dusting

Preheat Oven & Prepare Baking Tray:
- Preheat oven to 120°C (250°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the Chocolate Meringue:
- In a clean, dry bowl, whisk egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.
- Fold in cornstarch, vinegar, vanilla extract, and sifted cocoa powder.

Shape the Nests:
- Spoon or pipe the meringue into nest shapes on the lined baking sheet, creating a slight well in the center.
- Bake for 90 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the meringues cool inside with the door slightly open.

Prepare the Filling:
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. (For ganache: mix melted chocolate with warm cream until smooth.)

Assemble the Nests:
- Fill the cooled meringue nests with whipped cream or chocolate ganache.
- Top each nest with mini chocolate eggs and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings.

- Best served fresh or stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
