Description

Chocolate Lasagna is a decadent dessert that combines layers of chocolate, whipped cream, and a cookie crust. It’s perfect for any chocolate lover, offering a rich, indulgent treat that requires no baking.

 


Ingredients

– 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos)

– 1/2 cup melted butter

– 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup powdered sugar

– 1 package (12 oz) Cool Whip, thawed

– 1 package (5.1 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

– 2 cups milk

– 2 cups mini chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs and mix with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Blend until smooth. Add in half of the Cool Whip and stir to combine.

3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie crust.

4. In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with the milk until it thickens. Spread this pudding layer over the cream cheese mixture.

5. Top with the remaining Cool Whip and spread it evenly.

6. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top for garnish.

7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set before serving.

 


Notes

– For an even richer flavor, you can use double stuff Oreos or other chocolate-filled cookies.

– Make sure to refrigerate the dessert long enough for the pudding to set and the flavors to meld.

– You can also add a drizzle of chocolate syrup or extra chocolate shavings on top for extra indulgence.
