Description

Caesar Pasta Salad combines the creamy, savory flavors of Caesar dressing with tender pasta, crisp romaine lettuce, and crunchy croutons. It’s a perfect side dish or a light main meal for any occasion, offering a fresh take on the classic Caesar salad.

Ingredients

– 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)

– 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce

– 1/2 cup Caesar dressing

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/2 cup croutons

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain, and set aside to cool.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped romaine lettuce, and Caesar dressing. Toss to coat everything evenly.

3. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and toss again.

4. Just before serving, sprinkle the croutons over the salad and toss gently.

5. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice (if using) to taste.

6. Serve immediately as a side dish or enjoy as a light main meal.

Notes

– For a protein boost, you can add grilled chicken or shrimp.

– To make it gluten-free, use gluten-free pasta and croutons.

– You can prepare this salad in advance, but it’s best to add the croutons just before serving to keep them crispy.
