Description

Crispy, savory, and surprisingly easy to make—avocado chips are a crunchy, flavorful snack created by blending ripe avocado with Parmesan cheese and seasonings. Baked to perfection, these chips are low-carb, gluten-free, and ideal for guilt-free snacking.

 


Ingredients

– 1 large ripe Hass avocado (peeled and pitted)

– 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 tsp lemon juice

– 1/2 tsp garlic powder

– 1/4 tsp onion powder

– 1/8 tsp ground black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado until completely smooth.

3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.

4. Using a teaspoon, drop heaping scoops of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 3 inches apart.

5. Gently flatten each scoop into a thin, even circle (approximately 3 inches in diameter and 1/16 inch thick).

6. Bake for about 15 minutes until the edges start turning golden. Carefully flip each chip and bake for an additional 2–3 minutes until crisp.

7. Remove from the oven and allow the chips to cool completely to firm up before serving.

– Ensure the avocado is perfectly ripe for optimal creaminess.

– Spreading the avocado mixture as thinly as possible is key to achieving a crispy texture.
