Description

Chicken Mixture:

2 cans (12.5 oz each) canned chicken, well-drained

1 large egg

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

For Air Frying:

12 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)


Instructions

  • Mix Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, combine the canned chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, mayonnaise, dried thyme (or parsley), salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Form Patties:

    • Using your hands, shape the mixture into 6 evenly sized patties. Ensure they hold together; if the mixture feels too loose, add a bit more breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat Air Fryer:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Patties:

    • Lightly brush each patty with olive oil on both sides.
    • Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
    • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the patties are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

 

  • Serve:

    • Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.

Notes

  • Ensure the canned chicken is well-drained to avoid a soggy mixture.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste—feel free to add a pinch of cayenne or paprika for an extra kick.
  • These patties can also be baked in a conventional oven at 400°F for about 15–20 minutes if you prefer.
